এখন অসম্ভব ভ্যাপসা গরম। এই সময় তাই অনেকেই গরম থেকে মুক্তি পেতে বাড়িতে এয়ার কন্ডিশনার (Air Conditioner) বা এসি লাগানোর কথা ভাবছেন। কিন্তু কেনার সময় পত্রিকা কিংবা অনলাইনের লোভনীয় বিজ্ঞাপনে বিভ্রান্ত না হয়ে প্রয়োজনীয় কিছু টিপস (Tips) মনে রাখতে হবে।
এসি কেনার আগে খেয়াল রাখতে হয় জরুরী কিছু বিষয়ের উপর যেমন ঘরের আকার, ঘরের জানালা, এসির প্রকার। নয়ত সখের এসি হতে পারে আপনার ভোগান্তির কারণ। তাই নিচের বিষয়গুলো বিবেচনা করে কিনে ফেলুন আপনার পছন্দের এসি।
কোন এসি কিনবেন উইন্ডো এসি না স্প্লিট এসি!
এসি কেনার আগে প্রথমেই ঠিক করুন, স্প্লিট এসি নাকি ইউন্ডো এসি কিনবেন ?
প্রথমেই বলি, স্প্লিট এসিতে কম্প্রেশারটি ঘরের বাইরে থাকে বলে মেশিনের আওয়াজ শোনা যায় না বললেই চলে। কিন্তু সমস্যা হল, স্প্লিট এসির কম্প্রেশার বসানোর জন্য ঘরের দেওয়াল ভাঙতে হবে।
অন্যদিকে ইউন্ডো এসি লাগাতে গেলে আপনার জানলা বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে। আর এসি বন্ধ থাকলে ঘরে আলো-বাতাস ঢোকার সম্ভবনা অনেকটাই কমে যাবে। তবে, দামের দিক থেকে উইন্ডো এসির দাম স্প্লিট এসির থেকে বেশ খানিকটা কম।
আপনার ঘরের এসি কি ইনভার্টার!
বর্তমানে বিদ্যুৎ বিল সাশ্রয় করার জন্য ইনভার্টার এসি জনপ্রিয় হয়ে উঠছে বাজারে। এই এসিতে ঘর প্রয়োজন মতো ঠান্ডা হয়ে গেলে বন্ধ হয়ে যায় কমপ্রেশার। ঘর আবার গরম হতে শুরু করলে আবার ফুল ক্যাপাসিটিতে চালু হয় কমপ্রেশার। তাই ইনভার্টার এসির কমপ্রেশার সবসময় প্রয়োজন মতো ক্যাপাসিটিতে কমে গিয়ে চলতে থাকে ও ঘরকে ঠান্ডা রাখে। যেহেতু এই এসির কমপ্রেশার কম ক্যাপাসিটিতেও চলতে পারে তাই সাধারণ এসির থেকে এই এসিতে বিদ্যুৎ খরচ হয় বেশ খানিকটা কম। কোম্পানিগুলি দাবি করে ইনভার্টার এসি ব্যাহহার করলে সাধারণ এসির থেকে প্রায় ৩০ শতাংশ বিদ্যুৎ সাশ্রয় হয়।
ঘরের আকার অনুসারে এসির প্রকার এসি কেনার আগে ঘর কত স্কয়ার ফিট তা জানা দরকার। ঘরের আয়তন সর্বোচ্চ ১৪০ স্কয়ার ফিট পর্যন্ত হলে এক টন ক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন এসি কিনলেই চলবে। তবে ঘরের আকার ১৪০ থেকে ১৯৬ স্কয়ার ফিটের মধ্যে হয় তবে দেড় টন কার্যক্ষমতার এসি কিনতে হবে। যে ঘরে এসি বসাবেন তাতে যদি জানালা থাকে তবে পছন্দ অনুসারে ভালো ব্র্যান্ড দেখে ‘উইন্ডো এসি’ কিনে নিতে পারেন। ঘরের আকার যদি বড় হয় কিংবা ঘরে যদি কোনো জানালা না থাকে তবে ‘স্প্লিট এসি’ কিনতে হবে। মূলত বসার ঘর কিংবা অফিসের বড় রুমে ব্যবহারের জন্য ‘স্প্লিট এসি’ কেনা হয়।
এসির ব্র্যান্ড ও দাম:
ওয়ালটনঃ- দেশীয় প্রতিষ্ঠান ‘ওয়ালটন’ বাজারে এনেছে বিভিন্ন মডেলের এয়ার কন্ডিশনার। বিভিন্ন জায়গায় ওয়ালটনের শো রুমে পাওয়া যাবে চারটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন মডেলে। মানভেদে এসব এয়ার কন্ডিশনারগুলোর দাম ৪২ হাজার থেকে ৬৫ হাজার টাকা পর্যন্ত। শর্তসাপেক্ষে ওয়ালটন এসিতে দিচ্ছে ছয় মাসের রিপ্লেসমেন্ট গ্যারান্টি এবং তিন বছরের সার্ভিস ওয়ারেন্টি।
হিটাচি | এই ব্র্যান্ডের এক টন ক্ষমতার ইনভার্টার এসি পাওয়া যাবে ৮২ হাজার টাকায়। দেড় টন ক্ষমতার ইনভার্টার এসি কিনতে হলে গুনতে হবে ১ লাখ টাকা। একই ব্র্যান্ডের ইকোন্যাভি এসির দাম এক থেকে দেড় টনের জন্য ৭৫ হাজার টাকা থেকে ১ লাখ ২০ হাজার টাকা।
এছাড়া প্যানাসনিক’য়ের এক টন ক্ষমতার এসিতে ইনভার্টার এবং ইকোন্যাভি অপশন একই সঙ্গে পেতে হলে খরচ করতে হবে ১ লাখ টাকা থেকে দেড় লাখ টাকা। এই এয়ার কন্ডিশনারগুলোর উপর দুই বছরের পার্টস ওয়ারেন্টি এবং তিন বছরের বিক্রয়োত্তর সেবা দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
বিবিধঃ- Globe Aire’এর এক থেকে দুই টন ক্ষমতার এসি ৫০হাজার থেকে ৭০ হাজার টাকায়, ‘ক্যারিয়ার’ ব্র্যান্ডের এসি ৪৫ হাজার থেকে ৯৫ হাজার টাকায় এবং ‘ওয়ারপুল’য়ের দেড় থেকে দুই টনের এসি ৭৪ হাজার টাকা থেকে ১ লাখ টাকায় পাওয়া যাবে। ‘স্যামস্যাং’য়ের এক টন ক্ষমতার এসি পাওয়া যাবে ৫৮ হাজার থেকে ৬৫ হাজার টাকায়।
উইন্ডো এসি’র ক্ষেত্রে জেনারেল’এর দেড় টনের এসি পাওয়া যাবে ৫২ থেকে ৫৫ হাজার টাকায়। একই ব্র্যান্ডের দুই টনের উইন্ডো এসি কিনতে হলে গুনতে হবে ৬৫ থেকে ৬৯ হাজার টাকা। ‘ক্যারিয়ার’য়ের উইন্ডো এসি পাওয়া যাবে ৪৫ থেকে ৬০ হাজার টাকার মধ্যে। একই দামের মধ্যে ‘গ্রি’ ব্র্যান্ডের উইন্ডো এসি পাওয়া যাবে।
এসির যত্ন: এসির ক্ষেত্রে প্রধান সমস্যা হল ‘কুলিং’ বা ঠাণ্ডা করার ক্ষমতা কমে যাওয়া। এক্ষেত্রে এসির ভেতরের নেট খুলে ডাস্ট ক্লিনিং করে নিতে হবে। ব্যবহারকারী নিজেই সাধারণ উপায়ে এসির ইনডোর খুলে নেট ওয়াশ করে নিতে পারেন।
